Features
Sort
iMovie's Clips Pane by:
- Original Order (Eliminates empty slots)
- File Name
- Clip Name (Up to three different columns)
- Time Stamp
- Dragging rows within iMovie Pane Reliever's main
window
Drag
and Drop [and Launch] options
Once you set up your shelf sorting the way
you like it, you can then drag your iMovie Project onto
the iMovie Pane Reliever application icon and
your project will automatically be updated. Your new
project will even be opened into iMovie if you like.
[New
in Beta 2] Split Clip Name into three columns
This preference allows you to split the Clip Name
into three columns or less based on a user-define delimiter.
For example, if you have a clip named "Joe-Age
21-Friend"
and you select to split this clip,
Column 1 would contain "Joe", Column 2 would
contain
"Age 21" and Column 3 would contain "Friend".
(This is based on using the default delimeter of "-".
Refer to "Preferences" from our screenshots
page)
NOTE: When sorting on new columns, second sort is
based on first part of the clip name
Keep
your original iMovie Project intact

Requirements
iMovie Pane Reliever currently requires Mac OS X.
iPR has only been tested with iMovie 4. If the Clips
Pane formats of previous versions of iMovie are the
same the iPR will work on these projects as well.
If you want a version for Mac OS 8 or 9 or if you
have verified iPR works on earlier versions of iMovie
please let
us know.
